Terms and Conditions

Last changed Tuesday, 27 October 2026

These terms are a draft prepared for the academy's review and are not legal advice.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or request, book or attend classes with Learn Quran with Abdul ("the academy", "we", "us"). "You" means the student, or the parent or guardian who arranges classes for a student. By submitting a request or attending classes, you agree to these terms.

Our services

We provide live, online, one-to-one Quran classes in Qaida, Nazra, Tajweed, Hifz and Tafseer. Daily Masnoon Duas are taught as part of these courses. Classes are held on Zoom or Microsoft Teams with one teacher and one student. The content, pace and goals of each course are tailored to the student and may be adjusted as they progress.

Requests and approval

  • Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed booking.
  • Every request is reviewed by the academy. We may approve a request, decline it or ask for more details, for example if we cannot offer a suitable time.
  • When a request is approved, we confirm the schedule by email (if you gave a valid email address) and/or WhatsApp.
  • Please give accurate information, especially the student's age, your time zone and your contact details.

3 Days Free Trial

  • The free trial consists of three scheduled class days, not three calendar days.
  • Saturday and Sunday are not counted for a weekday schedule. For example, on a Monday-to-Friday schedule, a trial that starts on a Friday continues on the following Monday and Tuesday.
  • Trials are free of charge and subject to approval and the teacher's availability.
  • There is no obligation to continue after the trial. After the third trial class day, we will contact you to ask how it went and whether you would like to continue with regular classes.

Scheduling and time zones

  • Class days and times are confirmed by the academy when a request is approved. Times chosen in the booking form are preferences until confirmed.
  • We show class times in your local time zone and in Pakistan time. Please check that your time zone is correct and tell us if it changes, for example if you move or travel for a long period.
  • Daylight saving clock changes in your country can change the time difference with Pakistan. If a clock change makes the agreed time unworkable, we will agree a new time with you.
  • The usual schedule is five days a week. You may choose fewer or more days, by agreement.

Class duration

  • Classes on weekdays are 30 minutes.
  • On a Saturday-and-Sunday-only schedule, each class is 1 hour.
  • If your schedule includes both weekdays and weekend days, we will confirm class lengths with you when the schedule is approved.
  • Classes start at the confirmed time. If a student joins late, the class normally still ends at its scheduled time.

Missed classes and rescheduling

  • If the student cannot attend, please let us know on WhatsApp as early as possible.
  • We will try to offer another time where the teacher's timetable allows, but we cannot guarantee a make-up class for classes missed by the student.
  • If the teacher needs to cancel a class, we will tell you as early as possible and offer a replacement class or another suitable arrangement.

Fees and payment

  • Fees for some courses are shown on the website. For other courses, fees are available on request by WhatsApp or email.
  • Fees shown on the website apply to the schedule described with them, such as five days a week with 30-minute classes. A different schedule may have a different fee.
  • No payments are taken on this website. Payment methods, due dates and currency are agreed directly with the academy after a request is approved.
  • We may change fees with reasonable advance notice. Changes will not affect classes you have already paid for.

Stopping or pausing classes

  • You can stop or pause classes at any time by letting us know.
  • We may pause or end classes, for example in the case of repeated non-attendance, unpaid fees or behavior that breaches these terms. Where possible, we will discuss this with you first.

Equipment and platforms

  • You are responsible for a suitable device, a stable internet connection, working audio and a Zoom or Microsoft Teams setup on the student's side.
  • We are not responsible for interruptions caused by internet problems, power cuts or outages of third-party platforms. Where a class is cut short because of a problem on our side, we will try to make up the time.
  • Zoom and Microsoft Teams are provided by third parties, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Conduct and safeguarding

  • We expect respectful behavior from students, families and the teacher at all times.
  • Students should join from a quiet, suitable space and be dressed appropriately for a Quran class.
  • For young children, we recommend that a parent or guardian is present or nearby during classes. Parents and guardians are welcome to sit in.
  • The teacher may end a class early if behavior is unsafe or inappropriate, and will let the parent or guardian know.
  • If you have any concern about a child's safety or about conduct in a class, please contact us right away at learnquranwithabdul@gmail.com.

Recording of classes

  • Classes are not recorded without the consent of the student, or of the parent or guardian if the student is a child.
  • Students and families should not record or share classes without the teacher's consent.
  • Any recording made with consent is used only to support the student's learning and is not shared publicly.
